SICK BUILDING SYNDROME MONIYORING

Sick building syndrome (SBS) is a term used to describe the reduced comfort and health status of the occupants of a building that seems to be related directly to the time spent indoors with no specific illness or cause that can be identified. There is a wide range of reported symptoms high likely related to SBS such as headache, nose and throat irritation, dry cough, dry or itchy skin, dizziness and nausea, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, sensitivity to odors, asthma attacks, psychological changes, etc. Especially exposure to high levels of some VOCs like benzene and formaldehyde has been shown to cause cancer in humans. This is why important to identify airborne pollutant sources and concentrations and to have strategies for the control and improvement of indoor air quality.

We can provide a complete indoor air quality assessment by monitoring carbon dioxide, VOCs, humidity, temperature, dust, and other particles levels. In this way, we can reduce the risks of SBS by ensuring optimum indoor quality and comfort.
