Application:
Optimizing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint in coffeehouse chains is made possible with Florawise devices. By installing these devices, we fully automate and optimize energy consumption by controlling AC units and analyzing indoor and outdoor temperature settings. The Florawise Modular Analyzer X12 allows for continuous monitoring of energy consumption, managed by the Florawise Holistic Engine, which is connected to the Modular MAX device. This device gathers all energy data from the store, which is provided by IR Blaster devices installed throughout for AC unit control. Besides energy monitoring and AC unit management, our air quality sensors also monitor the indoor temperature to optimize it according to the outdoor temperature. All devices communicate seamlessly, enabling effective energy monitoring and management throughout the store.
Florawise Solutions in Store:
In coffee shops, we have equipped over 100 stores with our Florawise devices, including the IR Blaster, Modular MAX, Modular Analyzer X12, and Air systems. The IR Blaster devices provide comprehensive control over the AC units. We have also implemented automated scenarios that adhere to all regulations and optimize energy usage.
These scenarios optimize energy usage by maintaining the AC unit's temperature within the specified regulatory range, preventing any deviations from the set temperature interval. The temperature data collected by the Air system and the AC unit data gathered by our IR Blasters are all aggregated at the Modular MAX, which then transfers this data to the Florawise Holistic System for management and monitoring.
With the Florawise Modular Analyzer X12, we continuously monitor the energy consumption of stores before, during, and after the implementation of our solutions. This monitoring facilitates the calculation of energy savings and supports further optimization efforts.
By implementing Florawise solutions in over 100 Starbucks stores, we have achieved an energy savings of 23%, equivalent to a reduction of 3.34 million kWh in energy consumption and the prevention of 1.5 kilotons of CO2 emissions.
